Coaching is a results-orientated approach. It is a completely different skill to that of training, mentoring, counselling or consulting. The coaching approach means working with individuals to achieve their goals by using their own skill, experience and capabilities. This allows room for accountability, responsibility and transformational change. We use blended approach for coaching, including face-to-face, telephone and e-mails.
Mentoring is a semi-structured guidance whereby one person shares their knowledge, skills and experience to assist others to progress in their own lives and careers. Mentors need to be readily accessible and prepared to offer help as the need arises – within agreed bounds.
We typically engage in 12 months mentoring project with clients to motivate and empower key employees to identify their own issues and goals, and helping them to find ways of resolving.
